Misiones will reach the second call of the Becas Progresar 2026 with 19,928 benefits awarded out of 39,006 applications submitted during the first stage. The balance also shows 9,317 procedures still under evaluation and 8,117 rejected. Within this last group, 1,579 students submitted claims for their cases to be reviewed for possible input errors or other circumstances that could change the outcome.
The distribution confirms that the highest demand is concentrated at the compulsory level. Progresar Obligatorio gathered 28,126 registrations, amounting to 72.11% of the total; Progresar Superior received 6,861, 17.59%; and Progresar Trabajo totaled 4,019, 10.30%. Among the scholarships already approved, 15,635 correspond to the compulsory level, 3,484 to higher education, and 809 to vocational training.
The Director of Student Policies, Emilia Lunge, pointed out that the first registration was conditioned by operational problems of the new platform. According to her, the system operated correctly for only a few days and this year added the requirement of linking personal data with Mi Argentina. Those difficulties may have excluded young people who met the requirements but were unable to complete the procedure.
The new stage will begin on August 10 and will remain open until September 4 for students at the compulsory level. Those pursuing tertiary or university degrees will be able to apply between August 18 and September 11. Enrollment is not automatically renewed: even those who received the scholarship in previous calls will have to complete the process again and submit the information as a sworn statement.
The Dirección de Políticas Estudiantiles will work with municipalities and schools to set up guidance points. The teams will assist those who have connectivity problems, difficulties logging in, errors during submission, or questions about requirements and deadlines. The strategy aims to ensure that a technical barrier does not prevent an eligible person from applying and, at the same time, to identify students who need support to complete the digital process.
The general requirements remain. Progresar Obligatorio admits young people aged 16 to 24 with regular schooling and family incomes of up to three minimum wages; Progresar Superior sets 17 to 24 years for new entrants and up to 30 for advanced students, while Nursing has no maximum age limit. The second call thus opens two simultaneous tasks: to include those who could not register and to address the more than nine thousand applications that are still pending before defining the final universe of beneficiaries in Misiones.
