The governor of Santiago del Estero, Elías Suárez, led an expanded cabinet meeting in the Agreement Hall of the Government House. The call included ministers, secretaries, undersecretaries, and directors from different areas, with the purpose of reviewing policies in execution, coordinating priorities, and organizing administrative work.

The first axis was prevention against floods, river overflows, and the possible effects of the El Niño phenomenon. Officials analyzed infrastructure and coordination measures to reduce risks. The official information described an evaluation of actions and did not communicate at that stage a new specific project, an additional budget amount, or a bidding schedule.

The second line addressed agreements with professional and technical entities. The Government reviewed agreements with the Colleges of Veterinarians and Agronomist Engineers, in addition to the work with INTA. It also projected future connections with the councils or colleges of Economic Sciences, Social Work, and Road Engineering to incorporate specialized capabilities into various public programs.

A third point focused on management and control tools, while the fourth proposed strengthening technical teams in areas considered strategic. The breadth of the call sought to ensure that decisions were not limited to the ministerial level and that the departments responsible for implementing policies shared goals, information, and tracking mechanisms.

The fifth axis consisted of reviewing existing programs and structures. Among them, Santiago Crece con Vos, the Territorial Development Agencies, the teaching competition, and ServicioSGO were mentioned. The analysis aimed to identify progress and aspects to correct; the communication did not report the elimination of these programs nor a strict staff restructuring. The table also allowed political areas and operational managers to gather in the same space. This coordination will be relevant to translate the diagnostics into verifiable instructions and avoid overlaps between organizations.

The meeting took place on 7 of August and is kept as a record specifically selected for this batch. Its nature was mainly internal and operational: it did not itself produce a law, a new budget, or an awarded project. The verifiable result was the definition of five follow-up areas for the cabinet; concrete decisions must be observed in subsequent administrative acts, agreements, and implementations.
