La Rioja will host on August 14 a Regional Meeting of Frente Renovador with leaders and legislators from six provinces. The call will bring together representatives from Córdoba, San Juan, Mendoza, Santiago del Estero, Catamarca, and the host jurisdiction to discuss productive development, labor, federalism, and political construction facing the coming years.
The organization is in charge of Frente Renovador La Rioja, presided over by provincial deputy Ismael Bordagaray. Among the announced attendees are national deputy Sabrina Selva and José Ignacio de Mendiguren, former Minister of Production and space reference. The participation of national legislator Sebastián Galmarini was pending confirmation.
The provincial roster includes Franco Aranda, from San Juan; Gabriela Lízana, from Mendoza; Verónica Lacher and Pablo Mirolo, from Santiago del Estero; Tania Kyshakevych, from Córdoba; and Marcelo Cordero, from Catamarca. The meeting is part of the reorganization and debate process that Frente Renovador carries out in different provinces under the leadership of Sergio Massa. Territorial diversity is one of the traits with which the organization presents the Riojan call.
The planned agenda includes production, employment, development, and distribution of resources among the provinces. The space suggests that a national alternative must include a federal perspective and start from the realities of each jurisdiction. The meeting will function as a discussion forum: the call does not yet contain an agreed-upon government program or common decisions already made.
The choice of La Rioja takes place in a context of conversations among sectors of Peronism promoted from the province by Governor Ricardo Quintela. The activity of Frente Renovador adds to these movements to find agreements among leaders from different districts and explore forms of political coordination in the coming years.
The meeting will also have an electoral dimension towards 2027, but it was not presented with candidacies or closed alliances. The verifiable result will emerge after August 14: it will depend on the documents, agreements, or lines of work that the participants define. For now, the confirmed fact is a regional call with interprovincial representation and an agenda that combines productive, fiscal, and political matters. The eventual construction of a national proposal remains as a topic of discussion and not as a premature conclusion of the meeting.
