Governor Leandro Zdero participated in the celebration for the 50 years of the Sociedad Rural del Norte Chaqueño. The event brought together producers, rural families, sector leaders, officials, and neighbors from the northern province. The president of the Sociedad Rural Argentina, Nicolás Pino, as well as the head of the host entity, Galo Bergallo, also attended.
Zdero claimed the five decades of institutional work and defined the countryside as a strategic ally for the development of Chaco. He argued that the productive sector should not be treated as an enemy and linked the provincial recovery to a stable relationship between producers and the State. His message sought to consolidate a political alliance with rural entities and with families from the interior.
The leader reviewed measures adopted by his administration to support that orientation. He mentioned the elimination of the rural property tax during the first years of his term, the gradual reduction of Ingresos Brutos, and the financing tools of the Más Campo program. He presented these decisions as ways to reduce costs, support investments, and avoid obstacles to productive activity.
He also highlighted the current state of livestock farming in Chaco and the performance of local breeding farms in national exhibitions such as Palermo. He pointed out the genetic quality achieved by provincial production and called for abandoning views that place Chaco in a marginal position. Within that approach, he assigned a central role to the agricultural sector to generate activity and support the growth of the interior.
Pino valued the continuity of an institution built by several generations and highlighted the cooperation between the productive sector and the provincial government. He especially remembered Oscar Hernández, a leader linked to the history of the entity, whom he described as a promoter of projects. The head of Sociedad Rural Argentina considered that working together opens an opportunity to move forward.
Bergallo thanked the presence of producers, authorities, and rural organizations, and also paid tribute to Hernández. The celebration served both as recognition of half a century of work and as affirmation of a shared agenda. No new regulations or specific allocations were announced during the event; the political outcome was to reaffirm the commitment to cooperation between the Province and the sector.
