Salta
Salta's audit office could not verify nearly 20 million pesos, 9% of spending, because payment orders and supporting documents were missing. Councilor Lorena Torres proposes formally rejecting the General Account, reconstructing the 2021 council vote and sending new records to the oversight body.

Carlos Flores appeared before the City Council to answer questions about municipal accounts, the budget and land. He said the funds serve as a reserve for salaries and emergencies. The opposition demanded budget execution and questioned the large presence of municipal employees in the chamber.

The session also included criticism of the Supreme Court's ruling on the Land Law and a request for information on bullying prevention. The sound ordinance bans advertising, promotional, institutional or campaign messages from aircraft over the city without regulating air routes or flight operations.

The Deliberative Council unanimously approved the initiative promoted by Francisco Echarren. The process foresees the election of delegates and aims to create its own institutional, economic, and regulatory framework, although its development could take years and reopens a legal controversy in the province.
Santa Cruz
Three councilors approved incorporating into the Land Bank a public lot of 800 square meters occupied by the Secretary of Public Works. The opposition alleged irregularities and a conflict of interest; two council members voted against it, and the ordinance must complete the validity procedure.

The mayor formally asked Camuzzi Gas del Sur to prevent disconnections for non-payment, create exceptional debt plans and coordinate assistance for the most vulnerable households.
Río Negro
The special commission will be chaired by Gerardo Del Río, with Laura Totonelli as deputy chair. Its work will include neighbourhood meetings, broad workshops and thematic activities ahead of the 1 November convention election.
Neuquén
The province and municipality inaugurated the infrastructure for the 461 Lotes development, backed by an investment of more than 530 million pesos and including three transformer centres, 7,300 metres of power lines and 203 LED streetlights.

The provincial programme, agreed with Ecogas, will finance materials for household connections, provide technical assistance and subsidise initial costs in towns across north-western and southern Córdoba.
