Juan Martin assumed a new term as president of the PRO Río Negro during an event held in General Roca and directed the party reorganization toward the 2027 provincial competition. The legislator presented the continuity of his leadership as a stage to build teams, expand territorial presence, and offer a government alternative, without yet announcing candidacies or electoral agreements with other groups.

The structure that will accompany him has Ofelia Stupenengo as first vice president and Gastón Varela as second vice president. María Laura Frei was left in charge of the party Assembly, supported by Sergio Capozzi. The other members of the Consejo Directivo, the assembly members, and the secretariats of the Centros de Acción y Participación corresponding to the different provincial circuits also took office.

Martin linked the new period with the national political process initiated by the PRO and maintained that the party must take an additional step. His message combined continuity and an attempt at renewal: he defended the building of a modern and federal force but moved the objective to the Río Negro area through management teams and ideas for the province. The reference to 2027 functions as an organizational horizon, not as the formal launch of a candidacy.

The announced axes are three. The leadership will seek to form technical teams capable of developing proposals, deploying the organization across the entire territory, and consolidating a government option. This sequence places internal work before the definition of names and alliances. The party's challenge will be to turn a structure with legislative representation into an offer that reaches districts and localities with different realities.

The event included backup videos from Mauricio Macri, Rogelio Frigerio, Ignacio Torres, and Jorge Macri. They also sent messages María Eugenia Vidal, Alfredo De Angeli, Fernando De Andreis, Gisela Scaglia, and Hernán Lacunza. The roster brings together national figures and governors from PRO, but those endorsements were directed at the new leadership and do not equate to a Rionegrina ticket or a defined coalition scheme.

The renewal leaves the party with formalized authorities and an explicit agenda for the next cycle. The next step will be to organize the teams and extend the Centros de Acción y Participación, while the leadership decides how the PRO will be inserted into the 2027 provincial map. Until there are candidates or agreements, the verifiable fact is institutional: Juan Martin retains the presidency and assumes the responsibility of transforming internal support into territorial presence and government proposals.
