Claudio Petris resigns ten days before impeachment and the Superior Court must decide whether the case ends
The Esquel appeals judge resigned before the impeachment hearing in which he was due to answer allegations of illicit enrichment, abuse of power and conflicts of interest. If the Superior Court accepts Claudio Petris's resignation, the political trial could lose its object and be closed.
