The governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, has launched a deep restructuring of his cabinet in response to the new national political scenario and the growing prominence that provinces have assumed in the current Argentine context[reference:8]. The most significant move is the reassignment of Manuel Calvo from the Ministry of Government to become the new Chief of Staff, a decision aimed at strengthening the coordination of strategic areas and providing greater cohesion to the provincial administration[reference:9].
Calvo, until now Minister of Government, will take on a broader role that will allow him to oversee and articulate three key areas: the General Secretariat of Government, the Secretariat of Habitat and Entrepreneurial Development, and the General Secretariat of the Governor's Office[reference:10]. This concentration of functions seeks to streamline decision-making and ensure more efficient implementation of public policies at a time of national decisions that directly impact the territory of Córdoba.
As part of the reorganization, Gustavo Brandán leaves the Ministry of Cooperatives and Mutuals to take over the General Secretariat of Government[reference:11], a key position that will allow him to apply his experience in the administrative and political management of the province. Meanwhile, Laura Jure will continue at the head of the Secretariat of Habitat and Entrepreneurial Development[reference:12], and David Consalvi will maintain his position at the head of the General Secretariat of the Governor's Office[reference:13], ensuring some continuity in sensitive areas of the provincial administration.
The Ministry of Cooperatives and Mutuals, left vacant after Brandán's departure, will be occupied by Gabriel Frizza, a new official joining the provincial cabinet with the challenge of continuing and strengthening the cooperative sector in Córdoba[reference:14]. From the Civic Center, they also announced that in the coming days it will be defined who will lead the Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation, a portfolio currently under the orbit of the Minister of Bioagroindustry, Sergio Busso[reference:15].
The restructuring announced by Llaryora reflects the need to adapt the province's institutional machinery to a changing national context. The governor is betting on a more compact team with immediate response capacity, where Calvo emerges as a central figure in the articulation between the provincial executive branch and the demands of a political scenario that demands coordination and efficiency.
