Axel Kicillof led in San Martín the launch of MDF Youths, the youth branch of Movimiento Derecho al Futuro. The plenary brought together more than 3.000 young people from different parts of the country and functioned as a new instance of organization for the space promoted by the governor of Buenos Aires with a view toward the political construction of the coming years.

Kicillof was accompanied by the vice governor Verónica Magario and representatives from the provincial cabinet and municipalities. In his speech, he asked that the proposal be supported by collective projects, ideas, and the ability to generate enthusiasm, and he rejected that the public dispute be dominated by aggressions or hate speech. The call was to expand participation from the territorial bases.

The day included committees on technology, mental health, education, and the labor market. The format aimed for attendees to discuss problems that directly affect new generations and contribute content to the political program. The governor stated that young people should not constitute an accessory sector of the movement, but rather play a central role in defining its direction.

The leader also questioned the economic policy of Javier Milei. He rejected the explanation that individually blames those who cannot find employment, cannot make ends meet, or have to go into debt, and attributed these difficulties to the decisions of the national administration. He linked this criticism of the youth launch to the opposition strategy that Kicillof seeks to deploy outside the province.

Upon closing, he/she claimed the governments of Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and part of the Peronist tradition, although he/she clarified that his/her objective is not to automatically restore a previous stage. He/She proposed developing a different future and including new sectors, a formulation with which he/she tries to combine political identity, generational renewal, and federal reach.

The launch consolidates a youth structure within MDF, but it does not resolve the candidacies of 2027 nor define a national electoral front. No statute, permanent authorities, or formal expansion schedule were reported either. The concrete fact is the organized incorporation of young people into a growing space; their electoral weight will depend on the agreements and selection mechanisms adopted later.
