The Government of Misiones will accompany ten provincial companies to the Mining Value Chain Round that will take place on 26 of August at the Pabellón Azul in La Rural. The activity will integrate the Expo Industrias y Servicios 2026 and will seek to connect the SMEs from Misiones with buyers, operators, and companies in the mining sector.
The firms were chosen through a technical evaluation process. During the round, they will attend business meetings aimed at generating commercial opportunities and integrating them into national value chains. The news does not identify the ten companies nor detail the goods and services of each, so it is not appropriate to attribute specific offers, capabilities, or contracts to them that are not mentioned.
The delegation will be led by the Minister of Industry, Federico Fachinello, and the Undersecretary Micaela Gacek. The state accompaniment aims to reduce barriers to access new clients and facilitate commercial presentations. Gacek defined each meeting as an opportunity to build connections, incorporate buyers, and grow with added value.
The mission is part of an industrial strategy, even though the target market is mining. The companies will travel as potential suppliers and not as extractive operators in Misiones. For this reason, the central fact is the search for commercial diversification for the provincial industry: participation does not involve explorations, mining permits, or extraction projects within the territory of Misiones.
The Industries and Services Expo is expected to bring together more than 10.000 professionals, 200 exhibitors, and more than 100 specialized talks. This scale increases the possibilities for contact, but represents the overall attendance of the event, not the number of meetings guaranteed for each SME. The economic usefulness of the mission will depend on the fit between supply, required standards, prices, and subsequent purchasing decisions.
The next verifiable outcome will be the holding of the meetings and, eventually, the opening of negotiations, supplier trials, or contracts. Until then, the ten companies have institutional selection and support, not confirmed sales. The initiative shows how mining expansion can open markets to industries far from the deposits, as long as they manage to meet the technical and commercial requirements of the chain.
