La Rioja to take its boundary claim against San Juan to the Supreme Court

La Rioja State Attorney Emilio Rodríguez announced a filing before the Supreme Court seeking the annulment of decree-law 18,004, issued during Onganía's dictatorship. San Juan rejected the claim and defended the validity of its provincial boundaries.

Emilio Achem said the province climbed from the next-to-last position to seventh place nationally in teacher salaries. Negotiations with UDAP, UDA and AMET remain open, with an offer of 3% in August, 3% in October and improvements in connectivity, the teacher scale and remote-area supplements.
